"First off, please note that I have stayed at 5 star, diamond resorts such as Le Blanc in Cancun and the Bellbridge STILL gets my best rating of all time! I honestly don't know why anyone would give a bad review of this hotel... I guess some people just have no joy and are never satisfied. So, on with our experience...We decided to get married in Ireland and so we needed a place for our 67 guests who were flying over to call "home" for a week. Our goal was to find something affordable, self servicing with a full restaurant and pub, plenty of rooms for our guests, great location and fantastic staff. We found all of this and more with the Bellbridge. From the moment you arrive you are treated with kindness and courtesy. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and they are in the process of updating the rooms, so there are many different styles of decor. The food in the restaurants and pub is simply amazing... so different than what we were told to expect in Europe and a pleasant surprise! I cannot boast enough about the staff... Elizabeth, David, Pablo, Kitty, Ann, Mary, Jessica, Siobbhan, Elijah... I wish I knew all of their names so I could thank them all personally! But they were always outstanding, personable, kind, friendly and really went above and beyond for our entire group. Every single one of my guests had such a great time and really enjoyed the hotel and all of the people who work there who really made our trip the week of a lifetime! I cannot thank them enough!!! You are all so lovely! If you want a premier experience with a personal touch at a 3-star hotel in Western Clare, you MUST stay at the Bellbridge!
